We’re happy to share that 1st Electric is now an Efficiency Nova Scotia Preferred Partner Plus (EPP+).
We have been part of the Efficiency Preferred Partner network, but the new EPP+ designation requires additional steps, training and ongoing requirements beyond the standard program.

What Does Preferred Partner Plus Mean?
The EPP+ designation is available to members of Efficiency Nova Scotia’s Preferred Partner Network who meet additional eligibility and participation requirements.
Before receiving the designation, businesses have to provide additional information and demonstrate that they meet a number of requirements.
These include things such as:
- Being an established Nova Scotia business in good standing
- Providing customer and industry references
- Completing additional Efficiency Nova Scotia program training
- Completing annual cybersecurity training
- Maintaining additional security measures such as multi-factor authentication
- Participating in Efficiency Nova Scotia projects and programs
- Maintaining ongoing employee verification and customer protection practices
The designation also comes with ongoing requirements that EPP+ members have to continue meeting each year.
