What To Expect
Contact 1st Electric Inc.
When you contact 1 st Electric Inc. you will receive friendly and professional service. Our office team will gather the necessary contact information and assist you with registering with Generac so that you can access any promotional warranties that are being offered. The first step is for us to schedule a phone consultation with one of our Generac specialists.
Phone Consultation
During the phone consultation, our Generac specialist will work with you to determine the right size generator for your home or business. They will discuss the various options available to you and answer any questions you may have. An initial estimate will be sent to you immediately following the phone consultation and our office will reach out to schedule an in-person site visit.
Site Visit
Our trained estimator will meet with you onsite to discuss placement of the generator, transfer switch and propane tanks. We will discuss the details of the project including any excavation work or vehicular protection that may be required and answer any questions you may have. During the site visit, we will take pictures and measurements and an updated final estimate will be sent to you.
Approval & Installation
Once the final estimate is approved, we will work with Nova Scotia Power (NSP) to secure a date for your installation. We require NSP for these installations as we are disconnecting and reconnecting utility power. They will also inspect the installation once it has been completed. As soon as we have a date from NSP we will send you a booking conformation with important information regarding the installation. Our certified Generac technician will be onsite and will walk through your new generator with you and answer any questions you may have.
Great Customer Service
At 1 st Electric Inc. Our Customers are 1st! You will continue to receive exceptional service from our team. The first maintenance on your new generator is required after 25 hours, and then annually or every 100 hours after that (whichever comes first). When your generator is connected to Wi-Fi, you can join the Dealer Fleet Monitoring program where we monitor your generator on a daily basis and our certified Generac technicians can respond quickly to any errors or issues that arise.
